Sarajevo Stock Exchange and BBI have joined forces with the goal of creating the List and the Index of companies which are traded on SASE, and whose business is in line with principles of Islamic economy. We sincerely hope that this project will encourage investment and interest in companies and capital market in Bosnia and Herzegovina.

Today, in the premises of the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, an agreement between the Faculty of Economics in Tuzla and the Sarajevo Stock Exchange regarding the cooperation in scientific and business matters was signed.

During the meeting which preceded the signing of the agreement, the members of the Management Board of the Sarajevo Stock Exchange, headed by Dr Tarik Kurbegović,  and representatives of the Faculty, headed by Dr Safet Kozarević, dean of the Faculty, discussed possible ways of cooperation between the two institutions.

During the visit of representatives of Borsa Istanbul to Sarajevo Stock Exchange today is organised meeting these two companies with leaders of Energoinvest d.d. Sarajevo, one of companies listed in a index SASX-10.

Through conversation, Tarik Kurbegović, director of Sarajevo Stock Exchange and Adnan Serhat Görgün, director of Marketing and Sales Department of Borsa Istanbul presented the framework of strategic partnership between these stock exchanges, as well the effects of this cooperation on issuers on the domestic capital market to Enes Čengić , director of Energoinvest, and his associates.

On today's press conference organized by the Sarajevo Stock Exchange details of the recent start of trading with futures based on the index SASX-10 on Borsa Istanbul were presented.

Project of trading futures based on the index SASX-10 on Istanbul Stock Exchange is just the first in a series of of projects which are the result of the intensive cooperation between the two partner Exchanges, said dr Tarik Kurbegović, director of Sarajevo Stock Exchange at the beginning of press conference. He emphasized that, according to available information, there already was some trading conducted with this instrument on the Istanbul Stock Exchange last week. He also pointed out that one of the future projects will be a so called order-routing system.
